Tired comes at least in two ways, max use or prolonged use.   Tired, also comes from not having the right start, not having the right fuel, not finining the last start.  Easy to know with muscle fibers, each fiber knows and acts accordingly.  You can think your adrenaline up but your nervous system and mind muscle memory, connection, pathway, any way you call it, won't override what your muscle fibers already know are the breaking points.  If muscle fibers reach breaking points they know to break.  When you start to be conscious of it, it seems more in control with reasoned, predictable, optimal results.  It seems with your neurons, but when is the last time you stopped and started your neurons.  

 

Reading that muscle fibers know anything is not stopping your neurons, it’s not finishing prolonged use or maxing out neurons, or muscle fiber.    When you are consciously wanting more control with reasoned, predictable, optimal results you are just adding tired thinking, tired neurons that have been in prolonged use.  Chemical electrical balances may occur during stages of sleep but working out with purpose to reach reasoned, predictable, optimal results, thinking muscle fiber knows the same way neurons remember is the middle of prolonged use of those neurons tiring out muscle fibers yet another way.

 

It can be apparent with involuntary muscle, and somewhat with breathing and the nervous system, that sleep can allow those to stop prolonged use as needed to restart.  Doing a complete rep, multiple complete reps, a max, a workout to exhaustion can seem to do the same full stop and restart for voluntary muscles, if you don’t know better.
