Miss

I missed yesterday's blog. The first time I missed since I committed to not missing on March 11, 2021. I'm actually amazed. I was overwhelmed with tasks, but it can be like that a lot of days.

I physically worked out triceps and biceps. I committed to not missing a physical workout back in 1975-76, so long ago I don't remember the day. I changed it up some weeks a few years in the early 80s with one four-hour workout doing chest, back, shoulders, legs, triceps, biceps in that order. I've missed maybe two months of workouts over forty five plus years. Most of those misses were doctor's orders, cut in half for better or worse, after a few surgeries in the 90s. A few of those misses lower back, which I need to respect. A handful of those misses are like yestersday's missed blog, overwhelmed with tasks. After 2000 I don't sweat those few one day misses for better or worse. I could miss a workout or two while doing over 16,000. I couldn't just forget to do one, that would be amazing.

I'm enjoying my amazement but I shouldn't miss another blog even under doctor's orders.
