Driving home the point
Events can be aggravating, a word I only ever heard my dad use. Events can also be pleasant, a word my mother would fawn over. Events can also be both and neither, two words I think when used together sound very Buddha-ish.
Avoidance, arguments, road rage, attention, agreement, righteous resolution, these are all events you may easily match up to what I just wrote. Even Buddhist might, might not see a way to explain how each does and doesn't.
I say it's the unspoken word you're think before each word, event, that chooses every word, every event, and no, “every” is not the word.
